A roadside bomb exploded along the Andeck-Mbengwi road, Momo County in Ambazonia on Tuesday, Jan.6, 2021, killing at least four colonial Cameroun military men and the new female Momo Delegate of Communications. AmbaNews24 has confirmed from reliable sources that the attack was carried out in brazen daylight by forces fighting for the restoration of Ambazonia’s independence, and the defense of Ambazonian people against decades of brutal attacks and suffering by the colonial army of Yaoundé.

Capo Daniel, the Ambazonia Defense Forces spokesman, said five people were also wounded in the late afternoon blast. The injured include the following: the Senior Divisional Officer’s (SDO) protocol officer, the outgoing Sub DO of Andek, the Brigade Commander for Andek and two other military personnel. The SDO for Momo and the Commander for Mbengwi remain safe.

Several military vehicles were destroyed or damaged. An armored car transporting some of the military men and administrators is lying destroyed in a ravine close to where the attack took place.
