Forceful Habitation of School Classrooms

In a disturbing development, 31 August 2024. Cameroon occupation forces have forcefully taken over school classrooms on the premises of the Presbyterian Church (PC) Azire in Bamenda, Ambazonia. This occupation has transformed educational spaces into military camps and checkpoints, severely disrupting the lives of civilians and the church community.

Extortion and Violence Against Civilians

Reports from church authorities and local residents reveal that Cameroon occupation forces are using their newfound positions to extort money from civilians. The presence of the forces in educational institutions has created an atmosphere of fear and intimidation.
