March 6, 2019, Buea, Fako State, Southern Ambazonia: Mr. Asonglefac Felix, a 32 years old man tragically lost his life after being captured, tortured, and detained by the Cameroon Occupation Forces in Buea, Fako State in Prison. His death was as a result of inhumane treatment, including neglect of urgent medical needs and deliberate starvation. This incident reflects a gross violation of International Humanitarian Law. The fundamental human rights, underscoring the oppressive actions of the Cameroon Occupation Forces in Ambazonia.

The Geneva Conventions, particularly the Fourth Geneva Convention, are explicit in safeguarding the rights of civilians and detainees under occupation. These laws mandate that detained individuals must be treated with dignity. Provided with necessary medical care, and protected from torture or inhumane treatment.
